1. Right of Access (Article 15 GDPR)

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy of it. This includes information about how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.

How to exercise: Email info@fluentive.app with the subject line "Data Access Request". We will respond within 30 days with a copy of your personal data in a common format.

2. Right to Rectification (Article 16 GDPR)

If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected.

How to exercise: You can update most of your personal data directly in your Fluentive account settings. For data you cannot update yourself, contact us at info@fluentive.app.

3. Right to Erasure (Article 17 GDPR)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data when:

  • The data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected
  • You withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing
  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
  • The data has been unlawfully processed

How to exercise: You can delete your account directly from account settings, which will initiate deletion of your personal data within 30 days. Alternatively, email info@fluentive.app.

Note: We may retain some data for legal obligations (e.g., financial records required by tax law).

4. Right to Data Portability (Article 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (such as JSON or CSV), and to have it transmitted to another service where technically feasible.

How to exercise: Email info@fluentive.app with the subject line "Data Portability Request". We will provide your data export within 30 days.

5. Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18 GDPR)

How to exercise: Email info@fluentive.app explaining the restriction you are requesting.

6. Right to Object (Article 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

How to exercise: Email info@fluentive.app stating your objection.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on your consent (e.g., analytics cookies), you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How to exercise: Withdraw cookie consent via the cookie banner on our website. For other consent-based processing, email info@fluentive.app.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA):

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone: +30 210 6475600

For complaints from other EU member states, contact your local supervisory authority. You can find the full list at the European Data Protection Board.
